Our vision
America Needs Grace exists to create entertainment and artistic works of the highest quality which honor God, empower people, and embody the values and message of Christ. Your non-profit support will help us encourage, educate, and elevate the arts and culture landscape of America and the wider world. America Needs Grace's vision is to share the life-altering message of Grace, both given and received, as the foundation of personal and societal change. Our proprietary technology and techniques, the innovative Immersive Audio ExperienceTM (IAE), system will be used to reimagine the acclaimed Broadway production of Amazing Grace, in addition to other original works that will create the opportunity to share the good news of Grace and Hope!
Our intention
America Needs Grace (ANG) creates projects that uplift, challenge, and inspire! Our vision is to produce dramatic audio, visual and live experiences which honor truth and reveal the hope found when broken people are restored through the unconditional love of our Redeemer!
Our engagement:
ANG engages believers and those in need worldwide through multi-faceted programs which encourage, educate, and elevate the arts through cultural exchange. We believe that America Needs Grace can become a movement within the entertainment world, encouraging a positive, creative, cultural exchange of respect, love and redemption.
Our accountability:
The America Needs Grace project is humbled to be under the umbrella of The New Horizons Foundation's 501c3 tax exempt charities registration. We are additionally grateful to be part of the gloo communications platform and community of faithful organizations making a global impact.
Former church youth leader and police officer Christopher G. Smith left his careers behind and embarked on an unlikely journey to Broadway despite the fact that he is entirely self-taught. He is the only Broadway creative of his generation to write the music, lyrics, and book of a musical and have it reach Broadway on his first attempt. Christopher has been actively writing new never-heard-before songs and scenes exclusively for this adaptation of Amazing Grace and our other projects. Amazing Grace originally premiered on Broadway in 2015 and was written under the guidance of Christopher's friend and mentor Arthur Giron who passed away last year.
Management of our operations will be in the hands of Peter D. Scott, a Christian entrepreneur, leadership development expert, and 40-year veteran of the communications, live event, and training industries serving Fortune 500 clients, international organizations, and unicorn start-ups.
Audio drama production will be directed by John Fornof, often called the Steven Spielberg of audio drama. John and his company Circle Creative Media have produced over 130 audio drama programs including Adventures in Odyssey for Focus on the Family and numerous productions for the Lamplighter Theatre, of which he is a co-founder.
